When we had our baby showers I, at first, could not figure out why some people were giving us outfits for 6,9, and even 12 months.

Then I started to see the number of infant clothes people got us and realized that those other people were geniuses. Or parents already.

You won't miss feeling the tyke when he's out...you'll be too busy cuddling with him.

Do you have a carrier? I know a lot of people like slings and Baby Bjorns, but the lifesaver for me was a baby wrap. (http://www.mamatoto.org/) I made my own by taking a length of cloth (1.5 meters?) and cutting it in half the long way. I made a french seam in the middle and then just hemmed the edges. The only way I could get my younger one to sleep was to carry him around in it.

Anyway, something to think about other than clothes. :-D
