					<description>I agree.  Voter apathy is a huge problem here in Canada.  I don't know the statistics but just from talking to people, it seems to be worse here than in the states. (I'm an American living in Canada.)  It's very frustrating to hear how little people seem to care.  It seems so many are resigned to a "whatever happens happens" mentality.

I must admit a bit of apathy this election though as there is no candidate who even remotely excites anything but annoyance (to put it mildly) in me.  Voting is not as much fun when you have to do it absentee.  I really like the action of going to the polls.
